Spectrum #3
Plastic bags in trees, 2004

Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery is housed in a former large timber-framed warehouse and adjoining brick mansion built for the Rowley family; drapers, brewers and mayors of Shrewsbury in the early seventeenth century. The building is encircled by thirteen trees. Plastic bags, collected locally and during our travels, appear to have been blown into those trees, forming an accidental colour spectrum around the building.
