Helsinki Sanomat
Edition of 40 triptych newspaper ads, 2003

Over three consecutive days in April 2003 we had three texts, in English and Finnish, printed in the personal section of Finland’s most popular newspaper, Helsinki Sanomat. We had been living in Lithuania earlier in the year, and the texts were observations based on an afternoon spent in Vingos Park, Vilnius. We bought forty of each of the three newspapers were bought and sent them to forty people, though not everyone received all three.

This work was produced as part of Global Survey whilst Ivan and Heather were working in Helsinki with the help of Helsinki City Art Museum. Global Survey is a project supported by Vivid through the hothaus program.
