Foundation and Empire
Science fiction book, Mongolian wildflowers, 2003

We were reading a lot of science fiction novels in preparation for writing Divine Vessel whilst travelling around Mongolia photographing wildflowers. We had just finished Foundation and Empire, written by Isaac Asimov in 1962, and used it to press the flowers we collected. The piece was almost confiscated at a later date by the Mongolian customs.
